For May and June, I’ve been ‘consumed’ with 3 heavy-duty projects, (1) preparing teams for the changes and delivering the milestone feature FR, (2) working on the UX/ user research project to extend system function/ design new capabilities for internal resources, (3) designing a new partner survey. With the initiative now in a more mature stage, the new project with longer development time, and my expanded role (my boss asked me to support other key initiatives, especially related to customers), I need to lead differently and let go…
I’ll ask team to step up and trust that people can/ will drive the new project forward successfully. Meanwhile, streamlining the meetings and (team) collectively deciding on the focused areas to work along with the tech development, so we will make the best use of time/ resources, continue adding values to the business, teams, and partners while freeing me to support customers and do other things.
