I gave a speech , titled ‘what do you remember’ – I asked the audience to think of a trip that they remember… what made it special? memorable?
I’ve been fortunate to see many beautiful places and enjoy wonderful food yet what stands out is always the ‘people’. I’ve prepared three stories yet barely got 2nd story in and already went over-time.
I received a suggestion from the evaluator to focus on one story so I could elaborate more without rush. He is right…
To standout means to ‘choose’, focus on an area that will make the biggest difference. From skill perspective (more see ‘Talent by Nature or Nurture’ post), working on your strength, passion that you will get better much faster. When you’re so good with something, it lights up everything or carries you over other things. From story-telling point of view, less is more; one good story is more likely to be remembered and easier to follow along.
Great amazing things here. I?¦m very glad to see your article. Thank you a lot and i am taking a look forward to contact you. Will you please drop me a e-mail?
