Take the Time, Do it Right!

I’ve spent the past few weeks with product/ tech team to design solutions for a high-priority project. Suddenly, customer is considering to change system and the project is on-hold. When we talked to the business leaders to understand different customer use cases, additional information/ different requests were unveiled. We may need to re-design the solution.

Some team member were unhappy or anxious of the changes/ redesign yet I encouraged people to look at it differently. It’s good that we hear now (better earlier than later) so we can design and build a solution that will work for all customers vs. one. Also, the project on-hold gives us more time to think it through vs. rush it through. Let’s take the time to do it right!
