My boss asked me to support customer research. Before deep-diving into customer interviews and competitive landscape analysis, I’m thinking of the end goal and how to conduct the research. If we don’t ask the right people the right questions, we’ll not get to the right answers.
People say ‘less is more’. It only tells half of the story. Being purposeful to select ‘less’ is important. For presentation, I’ve learned that (1) story-telling is beyond a snappy slide but based on a compelling story; (2) why a friend, a great speaker, kept practicing the first 10 speech projects in Toastmaster Competent Communication manual on the fundamental speech craft.
