Cheers

3 great news today…

We gave a successful executive steering review for the initiative I’m leading. Development team has completed a key software feature and cross-functional teams are preparing for the January rollout. We celebrated initiative’s 15 months anniversary and progress: we have built 2 new systems and enhanced 2, doubled the job processed (automation), tripled the partners worked on the jobs, and quadrupled customers served. Meanwhile, we’ve saved outsourcing costs and team manual works, improved user experiences, and integrated/ enhanced data capabilities for business intelligence. Success is doing good works and telling great stories.

I asked a successful friend to mentor me and he said yes. My initial inquiry was how to move up yet after a call with him and reflection, I realized that “learning about myself” and “what I really want (personally and professionally)” are first. I look forward to the discovery and commit to work.

I didn’t think I like to run. I run because it’s the easiest exercise (no equipment or partner needed and I can run almost year-round outside if not heavy rain or snow) yet I’m excited to run again after two weeks of rests (& limping, slow walking after twisting my angle). We often realize and treasure something after losing it…luckily, if temporary and recoverable.

3 cheers to wrap up 2020 strong!
