Two recent Toastmaster experiences were great examples and thanks to Covid-19: (1) Many clubs have brought their meetings online so I ‘could’ join tonight’s meeting. I couldn’t make the meeting in person with the schedule and location. (2) The annual international convention was planned to be in Paris. Instead of cancelling it, Toastmaster International brought the convention online for the first time in history and made it free. I, along with 60,000 registrants, largest attendees ever, enjoyed it and could watch recorded sessions on-demand.
Yes, we can not only survive but thrive with Covid and in any situation…if we believe and think creatively.
