Go Home II

Saturday, I stepped outside after 2 weeks quarantine, the sun was shining and air was refreshing… I noticed new buildings, flat road (removed bridge), remodeled park on the way home and new TV, fridge, air conditioner at home. After lunch, mom took me to where we used to walk after meal. The wall and railroad (went underground) were replaced by walking path, tress, and exercise equipment, transformed to a new railway park. WoW, quite a change in two years!

Sunday, I rode bike with mom to traditional market. We passed park where people were practicing Taichi (martial art) or walking. We approached the market, the road was lined up by vendors shouting to attract customers and crowded with people like us looking for the fresh catch, produce. How familiar! I’m glad to see life is coming back/ something hasn’t changed except everybody is wearing mask (besides Covid, better protection against air pollution).
