I went to see a new eye doctor for annual eye exam. Different from doctors in large hospital or practices with multiple assistants for various procedures, she did everything (vision, eye pressure, retina, etc.) herself while patiently explained or answered my questions. She said that I could use a lower-degreed prescription lenses. I was a bit concerned before the visit that my computer usage, everyday at work and life, might impact my vision. I’m relieved it’s not. How could short-slightness get ‘better’? She explained adult eyes (myopia degrees) hardly worsen while aging adjusts eyes toward presbyopia (far-slightness) and balances out for short-sighted people to get closer to normal vision. Interesting to learn the benefit of aging and ‘justice’ for short-sighted people :).
