Yume Wo Katare is among the top 5 Ramen places in Greater Boston. A small place with a big (waiting) line. What makes this place unique is not only the super size food, ‘pile’ of tender meat and chewy noodles, but also the community atmosphere.
You sit next to fellow eaters on a long table, 5-6 in a row facing the kitchen where noodle is prepared. When people finish their bowl, the host led all shouted ‘good job’; the person is more than deserved to conquer the ‘hill’. You’re also encouraged to take ‘I have a Dream’ sign and share your dream with everybody. People talked about completing a triathlon, having a dog, doing a master degree, loving people around you…’.
To be honest, the food was beyond me, both the size and flavor yet I enjoyed the experience to hear/ cheer others’ dreams and shared mine to write a book. It took some ‘guts’ to announce your dream in public yet with the affirmation, I officially launched the blog and started posting today, moving toward the dream!
