Make a Better World ‘Now’

I had a doctor appointment in Waltham. Afterwards, I decided to visit an Indian grocery store nearby. I picked up a few things including Indian tea and masala spice for aunt’s friend J as she mentioned she loves the tea last time we chatted.

I dropped by aunt’s house where her friends stay. Nobody was downstairs. Aunt was having a big house project: painting, remodeling, clean-up for sales. I guess everybody was busy so I left the boxes of tea and spice on the kitchen counter, texted aunt, and went home.

Later I saw 2 emails from J. In one email, she thanked me for the gift and commented that she enjoyed the chat with me and the world would be a better place if more people like me, positive and open-minded…The other email, J sent a video link of a baby lama enjoying (chewing) grasses; she was ‘smiling’ and it made me smile, too.

Thanks J for her kind words. The world would be a better place if people are positive and open-minded and it can be ‘now’ if all of us do our parts, as J did by giving others appreciation, compliment, and joy…
