Instead of ham and turkey, I had BBQ and hot pot. Different weather and food yet same gratefulness to be able to spend time with mom and dad. Simply joy to ride a bicycle to traditional market with mom, enjoy local treats, and most importantly, see dad recovering well after surgery.
It’s a special year, to own my first home, to celebrate my ‘Costa Rica mom’ 70 birthday, to live in Spain, to spend more time home with parents. Many people to thank or as Chinese says 謝天 ‘thank to the sky (whole)’.
