I got a call from aunt that one of her neighbors asked for support…Her rental is waiting for inspection to allow people to move in. The inspection is delayed and she has 2 tenants who need a place of up to 2 weeks stay.
I have space yet I don’t have furniture, also, Covid is still around us. Is it safe to open door to strangers?
I talked to aunt’s neighbor’s son who helped arrangement while his mom was away. He seemed a thoughtful person and said he will bring air mattresses. According to him, the 2 tenants (ladies) are also good people, young professionals who are responsible and considerate. I thought many people have accommodated me along the way, time for me to give back, so I said yes. I borrowed 2 chairs and a few cups from a friend for the ladies.
They stayed for a week. We had a few chats; I learned about their works, family, and major league hockey (1 is die-hard NJ Devils fan), nice, little ripples in the pond~
