A friend and I were discussing about pitching with CEOs…she suggested instead of saying ‘What can I do for you’, use ‘What I can do for you’. Exact same word, only switch one order but what a difference it makes. ‘What I can do for you’ is confident, proactive, and driving a strategic direction vs. reactive, following the order, and waiting for direction.
