Jet blue is my favorite US airline. Why? I like its fun crew and they ‘generously’ give snacks, e.g. bags of chips, cookies vs. tiny pieces, peanuts or nothing at other airlines. Honestly, how much can the snack cost? Also, jet blue is the only airline that voluntarily issue voucher for the flight delay or …

Be a Better Person
The yoga instructor shared…for the past 50+ years, the #1 new year revolution for American has been ‘losing weight’. Prior to that, it was ‘to be a better person’…What the world will be with that? I know what my 2020 new year revolution will be~
Count to 5
The yoga instructor taught us to breathe…inhale through nose, count to 5, exhale through mouth, count to 5…to calm ourselves down. It’s a good practice to breathe and give us space, especially under tension. It’s similar to a 5 word wisdom mom told me: ‘放,離,疏,轉,正’ which translates to ‘let go, leave, release, adjust, stabilize or …
Buffer and Bonus
After 3 days of snow, I got out and saw more snow on my car than expected. Not only snow, the bottom became ice, heavier and denser to move, soon my scraper broke. If this is not enough, I looked around, a snow ‘wall’ built around my car by the plowing truck, nobody was around …
Relax
Happy December! My goal this month is to ‘relax’…(really?) I had a doctor visit and blood test, fortunately, nothing serious though my hormone is low. The potential cause may be stress, nutrition, and exercise. The few months have been very busy at work (long hours, lots of changes, and full of ‘(at)tension’) so what happened …
Blessing
I walked to the park with mom in the early morning and saw a group of people dance (exercise) with the music. Later, I saw 4-5 mid-aged women walked, chatted, and laughed with each other while carrying fresh vegetables purchased near-by. Simple joy and blessing! What a great start of the day~
Rush
At airport, I changed a few times of the lines to drop off bags, somehow, right after I changed, the line opened up and the person before me had something to delay the progress. I’d be much better off just stay at 1st line. I reminded myself the Chinese old proverb ‘ ‘ (rush result …
Candor
A colleague asked me if there is something between us that she feels I’m ‘defensive’ to her. We talked about a few instances. For her, she feels she just asked a question or tried to help. For me, I already provided the info (did she read?) and would like team to work together to drive …
Coincident or Connectivity?
It’s interesting how this week’s topics flow…We choose where we spend our ‘Energy’ and how we resolve, release ‘Tension’. Rather than avoiding or getting angry, ‘Face It’ is often the best solution while believing in people’s good intention. Tension, attention, intention: small difference in words and big difference in impacts, just like life, often what …
Tension => Communication
Had a ‘drama’ of meeting prep…after ‘cool-down’, I saw how it started, in my head: I was the initiative lead, why she sent a meeting agenda without consulting me? In her head: I was a new comer, she followed the ‘book’, and got approval from her boss, why I wanted to change now? I reached …
